I translate and edit content for museums and cultural institutions, as well as for publishing — particularly self-development books and fiction. Trained in literary translation at university, with a Master's (DEA) in Foreign Literatures and Cultures (English option) and over ten years' experience.

A background in copywriting, an eye for SEO where content is destined for the web, and careful project management, from the first terminology research through to final proofreading.
All collaboration takes place in writing, by email or messaging.
What are typical turnaround times?
It varies with the volume and complexity of the project; a deadline is always confirmed before work begins. For several years, my average daily output has hovered around 2,500 source words a day — terminology research, text complexity or formatting requirements can all affect this pace.
Do you use artificial intelligence?
Yes, in a controlled way: terminology research, post-editing, never as a substitute for human proofreading. In the interest of transparency, I also use it daily to organise my projects, manage my Notion workspace and surface keywords in my personal notes. It's a valuable tool, but it replaces neither intuition nor human skill.
What don't you offer?
I'm not an interpreter, and I don't translate into any language other than my mother tongue, French. As Norwegian is close to the other Scandinavian languages, I sometimes take on translations from Swedish or Danish, but only after checking that the text genuinely falls within my language skills.
How does payment work?
By bank transfer, Wise or PayPal.
How many revisions are included?
One revision after delivery if your team feels it's needed. On request, I can also quote for a fellow proofreader to review the work: over ten years in the industry have let me build relationships with skilled proofreaders and copy-editors.
Will my documents stay confidential?
Yes, every project is treated as confidential.
